Well, apparently it wasn't because I received a credit card statement showing the charge.
I told him repeatedly to cancel this feature and he kept repeating that my card was rejected. The customer service rep could not speak very good English and apparently couldn't understand it either. I tried to cancel one of the features and was redirected to a call center in El Salvador. However, I am extremely disappointed with all the additional features they add on for an additional cost. I decided to use it again about two months ago and it appears to operate as well or similar to its past performance. I used System Mechanic years ago and was pleased with it's ability to clean my system up and enhance the function of my PC. iolo definitely has taken a MAJOR turn to the worse. The pro version I has worked extremely well and was very fast to run, Big and bright, easy to see. At least they say it will let you use a different version then. Use something that causes problems or Un-install it until it expires and buy a different version. Then to find out they hijack your computer. I personally have "never" installed software on my computer that has caused so many problems. The new program is so white I could hardly see it, the Font was small and light colored making it very hard to see. When I did run Ultimate Junk it was extremely slow and I have a very fast computer. SO, now I have nothing at all because I just un-installed it so I can use my computer normally. When I asked support they said once you put Ultimate Junk on you computer you're stuck with it for 1 year. You can buy the most basic version, download it and it 'ALWAYS" re-installs the Ultimate piece of junk. Once you put the Ultimate Piece of Junk on your computer all you can do is Un-install it. So, I uninstalled it and bought the Pro Version again. Downloaded and "Instantly" had computer problems. Since it was about to expire I figured I would try the Ultimate Defense.
